How to Reach Gulmarg
By Air
The nearest airport, Srinagar International Airport is 56 km from Gulmarg and very well connected with major cities in India. At the airport, one can take a taxi or bus to Gulmarg.
By Road
The other way to reach Gulmarg is through National Highway 1-A. It is 56 km from Srinagar, and cabs and buses can be found anywhere. The whole journey affords wonderful vistas of valleys and mountains.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi (290 km). Cabs and buses are available from here also, and a detour is made through Srinagar while proceeding to Gulmarg.
